Playing Catch

Numerous research studies have shown that children who are involved in organized sports have higher grades, better behavior, healthier bodies and fewer problems with crime. Playing catch is where it all starts and you can start a habit of playing catch with your child just as soon as they are old enough to sit up and roll a ball back and forth, and then move on to softballs or footballs outside as they get older. Even children who don't want to be involved with organized sports teams can still enjoy and benefit from playing catch with mom or dad.
