Respect

R E S P E C T - Find out what it means to me!
-- Aretha Franklin

Understanding the concept of respect takes quite awhile to learn, and the real feeling of respect might not come for a long time. In the meantime, help your child learn acceptable ways to show respect, and they can practice those behaviors even without complete understanding, such as polite manners, arriving on time, holding doors, helping unload the car, saying thank you, listening quietly and taking turns.

Top five FUN ways to learn about Respect
Climb a tree
Light a match
Fix a flashlight
Jump rope
Play catch with dad
